Based on my experience, I would say yes. I can’t pinpoint any specific super-foods, but I have found that the more home-made, natural, healthy food I consume, the less I notice that my psoriasis is even there (which means it is not flaring up). I would hesitate to say that notoriously unhealthy food such as greasy, fried, fast food, processed pseudo food and anything that’s loaded with preservatives will worsen your psoriasis without a doubt… but they certainly don’t help.
As far as your diet goes, it is best to have an experimental mindset. Try not drinking alcohol for a while. Try drinking decaffeinated coffee for a few weeks. You might try adding some new food to your eating schedule that you don’t usually eat such as fish, barley grass or pickled eggs (okay, not really serious about that last one).
Keep in mind that psoriasis can come and go sporadically, so don’t mistake a seasonal down-swing for a sudden, miraculous cure. You should observe what you eat in relation to how you feel over the long run to get the best idea of what works and what doesn’t work.
How about a vegetarian diet? Does it aggravate your psoriasis? ( You have mentioned natural diet: I take it you mean unprocessed food.)
yes, actually I have mentioned that a vegetarian diet can help significantly (here for example)… in any case i have found that eating healthier i general can help, and a lot of the time eating more fruits and veggies is just plain healtier
