I have found Neutrogena’s Extra Strength T-Gel to be effective at controlling the super-irritating itchy scalp that is caused by psoriasis.  If you massage it into your scalp (as directed), leave it there for a few minutes and then rinse it off, you will notice how deeply Neutrogena’s signature ingredient, “Neutar,” penetrates the skin and kill that psoriasis itch.  You will notice a difference especially if you have never used it before.

You will notice that Extra Strength T-Gel is a lot thicker, darker and most of the time a bit more expensive than standard T-Gel.

Since Extra Strength T-Gel has such a high concentration of that highly potent ingredient, coal tar (or Neutar), as per the bottle, it is recommended to this product be used in moderation.  Also, anyone using T-Gel is advised to avoid prolonged exposure to the sun on the part of skin to which this product was applied.
