I concur with the last comment, take the pen from the fridge & let stand for 1/2 hour to 45 mins before injecting & it will be virtually pain free
My first pen injection with nurse present was like giving myself a tetanus shot. The next one and there after I left out for 30 mins. A lot less pain, but not painless. I still say a few choice words after the injection
. The results are worth a little pain though. Psoriatic arthritis virtually went over night and psoriasis was gone a few weeks later. Also my nails stopped pitting and returned to normal.
