The Humira Injection Pen

Written by Psoriasis Guru

As a supplement to my last post about Humira, here is a video of a guy using a Humira injector pen.

The Humira Injection Pen is a custom, disposable device that was created by the makers of Humira to make at-home injections as simple as possible.  The following video demonstrates the fact that, while the device is easy to use, it is not painless.

For pain-free injections, let the pen warm up for 30min or so before injecting…

For pain-free injections, let the pen warm up for 30min or so at room temp before injecting… No problem !

I concur with the last comment, take the pen from the fridge & let stand for 1/2 hour to 45 mins before injecting & it will be virtually pain free

My first pen injection with nurse present was like giving myself a tetanus shot. The next one and there after I left out for 30 mins. A lot less pain, but not painless. I still say a few choice words after the injection :) . The results are worth a little pain though. Psoriatic arthritis virtually went over night and psoriasis was gone a few weeks later. Also my nails stopped pitting and returned to normal.
