Thanks for the post on this- for the last year my hair has been falling out, and while I thought it was telegon effluvium and waiting for it to stop, the seb derm was building up. So glad I know what it is now! The hair fall hasn't entirely stopped but it's made me less self conscious in a way (I am not my hair, etc) and everyone assures me that it doesn't show. My shampoo rotation is Dermactive (zinc based mild shampoo), Polytar, sometimes Nizoral and then normal shampoo (E45 is gentle- avoiding SLS and researching aggressive shampoo ingredients seems to be wise).
